Service Committees
Art:
Projects include:  Make and Take craft nights, Very Special Arts, sponsoring a quilt show and photography contest at Postville Courthouse bi-annually.  The committee has showcased the local arts by decorating storefront windows downtown Lincoln.  The committee also enters a float in the annual Christmas parade.

Conservation:
This committee works hard to encourage care of our environment by promoting recycling.  Club members are asked to save all aluminum and glass.  Pop tabs are collected and donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Springfield. The tabs are exchanged for cash to be used at the House.

Education:
Projects included collecting school supplies for the needy, taping textbooks for special education students, educating club members about learning disabilities, working closely with the Lincoln Public Library to promote National Library Week by providing 2 prizes (gift certificates to a local book store), sponsoring a HOBY student.

Health:
This committee worked closely with Graue Pharmacy at the Community Health Fair providing assistance with the Diabetic Screening, is sponsoring a team for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  They made donations to Camp Candy and United Cerebral Palsy.  Our club also mans the Logan County phones during the Cerebral Palsy Telethon every year.

Home Life:
Committee members supported the Ronald McDonald House by cooking a meal for the residents, collected food for the food pantry, donated games to Winning Wheels, donated gifts to the Salvation Army during the holidays and has sponsored a babysitting clinic for 6-7-8 graders.

International Affairs:
Projects include:  Organized a canned food collection in the elementary schools in recognition of World Food Day.  All donations benefited the Logan County Food Pantry.  Committee members participated in the Crop Walk, organized the annual club International potluck.  Made a monetary donation to Operation Landmine and are collecting small toys and games for Operation Smile.

Public Affairs:
Committee projects have included giving treats to the crossing guards in the fall, promoting Child Abuse Awareness month, child safety, tornado safety, and hosting a baby shower for American Indian Center in Chicago.
